The Israeli Association for the Study of European Integration provides a forum for debate and the exchange of ideas and information among academics, policymakers, business leaders, and representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Its activities primarily consist of seminars and conferences.

About IASEI

Founded in 1992, IASEI brings together academics and practitioners in Israel specializing in the European Union (EU). The Association provides a forum for debate and the exchange of ideas and information on European integration while actively promoting research, collaboration, and professional networking in the field.

IASEI enables academic and non-academic experts on the EU to share knowledge, exchange perspectives, and learn from one another’s work. Its membership includes government officials, business leaders, students, and faculty members from Israel’s leading universities.

Become a member

Becoming a member of IASEI is conditional upon supporting its aims, paying the applicable membership fees, and approval at the discretion of IASEI. Membership in IASEI:

  1. Supports IASEI’s activities and contributes to their development.

  2. Is a prerequisite for voting in and standing for election to IASEI’s institutions.

  3. Provides access to activities that may not be open to the general public.


All IASEI members are required to pay annual membership fees. These fees may be paid at any time during the year. The IASEI Executive Committee may designate certain activities as open only to members who have already paid their annual membership fees.

Membership fees may be paid by credit card via PayPal. After completing this online form, you will be directed to PayPal. A receipt will be emailed automatically to the address provided in this form.

Alternatively, membership fees may be paid by bank transfer to the Israeli Association for the Study of European Integration, Bank Leumi (10), account number 783-1780325. If you choose this option, complete and sign this online form, disregard the PayPal screen that follows, and send official confirmation of the bank transfer to iasei28@gmail.com. A receipt will then be emailed to the address provided in this form.

The annual membership fee is 60 NIS for students at institutions recognized by the Israeli Council for Higher Education, subject to submission of a copy of a valid student card as of the date of payment/registration, or 120 NIS for all other members.

According to IASEI regulations, the decision to accept new members into the association rests with the Executive Committee, which will inform each applicant of its decision. Completing this form and/or paying the membership fee does not obligate the Executive Committee to accept the applicant as a member of the association.
