The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), with a membership of 43 countries, Israel included, based in Barcelona (Spain) is a young IO with a brighter future than thought when it was created in 2008 and where the European Union as one of its co-Presidents plays a prominent role. What are the stakes for Israel and the EU in the success of the Union for the Mediterranean? And what are the opportunities for Israel within the UfM?
